Up to 15 miles of the Big Creek Greenway in Forsyth County are enjoyed daily by walkers, runners and bikers. When a temporarily closed 1.9-mile section of the Greenway, just north of the Bethelview trailhead, reopens sometime this summer, there will be nearly 17 miles to enjoy. Our Parks & Recreation and Capital Projects teams are working hard to make the renovation of this section happen as soon as possible while enhancing longevity and reducing future maintenance and repairs by incorporating an improved elevated boardwalk design with a steel substructure.
